Cakes are yum and cakes are fun. Cakes are particularly loved by many people around the globe. In some countries, cakes are the main item in weddings and people spend thousands of dollars for a perfect and tasty cake for their weddings. Cakes are also most important item in birthday parties. In short cakes are essential in happy parties and happy occasions.

We eat cakes, appreciate them, love them and sleep without thinking how difficult it is to bake a perfect cake. A perfect cake is a soft fluffy eatable which is pleasant not only to eyes but also to mouth.

It’s fun to bake cakes. But when cakes do not turn out fluffy and soft, all the hard work goes down to drain. Many people are found complaining that their cakes do not bake soft and fluffy no matter what they try. The main reason, which I have found after baking so many cakes, is; they do not use butter/oil and eggs in proper quantity.

Take any cake mix and put it in the mixing bowl. Not add 4 eggs and half cup of oil/butter in the mix. Now mix them well, add additional sugar or any other ingredients you like and mix them again. Do not forget to add water in the mixture.

Another problem which can cause a hard stone cake is when mixture is not mixed properly. Beat the mixture as much and for as many minutes as you can, for your satisfaction. The more beaten the mixture, the more mixed all the ingredients and hence the soft the cake.

Cakes also do not turn out soft if they are not put in proper heated over. Remember, to bake a soft and tasty cake, oven must be heated well. If cake is put in cold oven or oven is less heated, mixture is under cooked for first few minutes and hardens. Also overly cooks cakes do not turn to be soft and fluffy. If cooked for extra time, all the oil/butter dries and cake becomes like a stone.

If these few things are taken care of while baking a cake, cake would be a great success and people will ask you for the perfect cake recipe.  So, enjoy your perfect cake, decorate it and eat it.
